| HAI! I'm Erii! I'm originally from North Carolina (Go Heels!) But now I'm at college at Northern Arizona University. I come on to deviantart to drool over others art and get inspiration. And once in a while find a few fantasizing, fulfilling fanarts.... maybe more than a few.... My Artistic Emo Sob Story: When I was in elementary school I was considered a very gifted artist (I even won a few state wide awards for it). A lot of kids would ask for me to draw for them, and people would always be able to tell what my drawings were (which is a talent!) My drawings weren't "realistic" but definitely had its own unique, doodled style to it (much like it does now). I was ALWAYS known as the class artist and that was my identity. In 4th grade a new girl moved into my class. Not only was she much more popular and pretty, but her art was incredible. The first drawing of hers I saw was a bald eagle with every last feather detailed precisely. I was so crushed by this. I was no longer the class's best artist. I stopped drawing all together after that. She was so much better than me, and there was noway I could ever compete with her realistic style with my dumb little cartoons. Needless to say I have since realized that there is no "best or better" way of drawing. And that every person has their own unique style, and/or point of view and no one should ever look down upon themselves for having a different eye.
